A new series of horror tales. Collectible. Creepy. And definitely not for kids.
It started with an itch I couldn’t quite scratch.
Back in the summer of 2021, an idea lodged itself in my brain — something dark, bite-sized, and nostalgic. A series of horror stories, each one standalone, but bound together by a twisted thread. A love letter to the books I grew up devouring: Goosebumps, Point Horror, those lurid paperbacks that dared you to turn the page.
I missed the rush. The joy of collecting every title. The thrill of spotting recurring Easter eggs. The fear that crept in, just enough to keep the hallway light on at night.
But I wanted something more grown-up. Grittier. Bloodier. Something for the version of me who still loves a fast-paced scare — but now reads between commutes, parenting, and deadlines.
That’s when Twisted Tales began to take shape.
At the start of 2024, I asked R.P. Howley to come onboard. Rob’s storytelling instincts are razor-sharp, and his love for all things sinister made him the perfect creative partner for this series. Together, we’ve been cooking up a fresh collection of standalone horror novellas designed to thrill, disturb, and linger long after the final page.
Each book is designed to be devoured in one or two sittings. Each one offers something new. And each one digs its claws into that golden feeling of ‘90s horror nostalgia — then twists it into something altogether darker.
We’re calling it: Goosebumps for Grown-Ups.
And now, after years of planning and pages of blood, we’re finally ready to share what’s coming.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be teasing the first wave of Twisted Tales — starting with the launch of our debut title this July. There’ll be cover reveals. Easter eggs. Behind-the-scenes insights. Maybe even a few whispers from The Storyteller himself…
If you’re hungry for short, punchy horror that doesn’t pull its punches, keep your eyes peeled.
The darkness is coming.
And it’s got stories to tell.
