In 2015 I published my first novella, ‘Sins of Smoke.’ Two weeks later, that little passion project topped the Amazon horror charts. Throw in a few twists and turns along the way, and now I’m an international bestselling author, award-winning podcast, author coach, one quarter of digital story studio, Hawk & Cleaver, one cog in the podcast machine which we call ‘The Other Stories,’ (a podcast which has generated over 10 million downloads in 6 years), the CEO of Devil’s Rock Publishing, and the founder and CEO of Activated Authors.

I’m a creativity enthusiast, Funko POP collector, Pokemon buff, a speaker, a father, an Aries, and a whole bunch of other identifiers. My fiction explores the catastrophic, the strange, and the impossible, while my non-fiction explores what it’s like to be human in a world that tries to strip us of our own base humanity. I believe in stretching limits, breaking the impossible, and bringing other inspiring creatives along on the journey. In 2019 I achieved my dream of making a full-time living with creativity, and since then I’ve never looked back.
